I think I know which specialist you're on about but I'll refrain from naming. Richard mentioned it when I was up there a couple of weeks back.

Hope you like the transformation.

Saw your car on Friday looking rather sporty. There was a few there at the time getting their fetles fetled.

Craig and Ian explain how they are carrying out out-rigger replacements. Bloody amazing and clever is all I'm going to say.

Time to give her a blast at the weekend? What do you think? Did you consider the 3.9 diff without the c/r box? what made you go for both at the same time?

Im toying with the idea myself but cant decide whether or not i need the box doing at the same time - it seems general opinion is that is enabled 60 without a gear change, which isnt really an objective of mine, but if it improves in gear accel, i.e. makes the power more accessible? Also cant decide if traction is going to be a problem? I struggle enough to put the power down with a standard diff (Tuscan 1), so 3.73 would be a jump never mind 3.9!

Please give us a clue on what 'specialist?!' so we can avoid them? Are they on here....

OP - you will find your post deleted if you try to "name and shame". Also find it very hard to understand the content of your post - did you read it through before you pushed submit?

Makes sense to me.

Bad workmanship nearly caused a fire as it started to smoke around the fuel tank. All sorted now by TvR.

I agree name and shame would result in deletion, but if you dont give us the details of the apparent problems there is no 'shame' to be apportioned...just your opinion smile

I personaly use these forums as a tool to decide what to do on my car and feed back on good places to go for work doing.Hoping for good job each time. But like all traders theres good and bad,and i hope people share there findings so other people dont have the same problems .Like i said befor the place that did suspesion work on my car ie new nitrons and set up made complete mess up,making me want to sell car,so track v road kindly said bring up at no charge and let us look,it does not sound right.

Sorry run out of space.T v R set the car back up loverly nothing special just good old factorty settings.Confidece restored in car .Next mods close ratio box 3/9 diff new cluch ect.As T vs Road were doing lots of work told them to give car full look over, few iteams found and rectfyed job done.on testing car smoke from under bonnet, pas pump wiring loom smoked and pump .Investigation shows that when new silcone water hoses fitted SAME garage that fitted naff nitron set up.I say possibly beacause trying to prove would be ther word against mine ,had moved wiring loom out of way and cable tied to s/s hose rub rub rub total harse holes. But as i said can i prove this !!!So when i get car back going to orig garage to see what they after say for them selfs.Just do your home work first .Sorry for rant lads !
