Just a quick note to say that our diary of Le Mans is now on the Surrey site (www.tvrcc-surrey.co.uk). Dave has hundreds more pictures to add but we will be sorting this out after our return from appearing on "Speed Sunday" this afternoon. Look out for us on the telly.
Cheers
Steve and Karen

Well Karen I just wathced the video of Speed Sunday and I saw your flags by the finish podium but wasn't their coverage of TVR crap? In fact worse than that because TVR didn't get one single mention from them - useless eh!!! Rich...

They had a short segment with Hugh Chamberlain and the TVR team (also with Morgan) in some of their other coverage, but admittedly they didn't provide much insight to the GT race at all.

I'm sure the Porker guys are feeling the same way, and they won!

Very true - if you weren't in an Audi you were not worth bothering about, even though there was excellent racing in classes other than P1 ....

The Primate definitely looks as if it's had problems during it's life! Even the Ferrari girls carefully placed hand cant put a smile it's face...

There appears to be more than a touch of Topov (Pipkins for the younger viewers) in him e.g. "why do they call me Topov.....because I'm alway on Topov Hartley

Being on the Speed Sunday set was a good laugh. Gaz Top spotted us as he came in, waved and said "TVR Nutters!". J Herbert was quite chatty too and we all got our photo taken with him (and autographs). He said that he spotted the flags whilst on the podium and remembered us lot from the friday night. His car had to stop right by us so we chatted with him for a bit.

J liked Mon-keh and was surprised that TVR weren't mentioned more in the SS coverage. He thinks that the TVR drivers were very considerate as they were the only ones to consistantly move over when he went by.

You haven't seen Dave's photos yet. They're awesome!
