Opinions on pads for track and road

some Wedgers will have seen my other thread but just wanted to garner more views from a wider TVR group.

Following the discontinuation of my existing Red Dot brake pads, it looks like I now have the choice of

Ferodo DS2500 (FRP216H) - £120ish
Mintex 1155 (MDB1292) - £95ish
Pagid RS4 Blue (E1361) - £175ish <cough splutter>

Any views (particuarly between the Ferodo and Mintex). Other options people know about for this pad fitting?

DS 2500. you won't get better for road and track in my opinion,they are a little more dusty than cheaper others,but work very well from cold and can take some searious track hammer when really hot,but shop round on price as i paid less than £120 for four pot fronts

Another vote for ds2500 here. Been using them on my 205 and they've been great. Nice and progressive and certainly can take some abuse if you're driving fast.

Anyone know what codes (both front and back) are the right ones for a tuscan 2S?

Contact Brummie on here he does carbone Lorraine which are very very good snd he normally looks after PHers on price to !! Go for RC 5+ they are like ds3000 grip but eith the manners of 2500s

Just a quick update - thanks for the input from everyone. I've opted to give the CL (Carbon Lorraine) pads a go (thanks Paul/Brummie and thanks Craig for the suggestion).

I'll let people know what I think once I've had a chance to fit them and got the car MOTd.

Don't forget Hawk HP Plus, I have used many sets and definitely no fade, ever.

Really good man.Glad the season is over in some ways finished 4th in Championship, so pleased with that.I'll be up for a track day with you over the coming months.I'll bell you soon ,loads of news to tell you about the racing.

Easytrack. And it's pretty cheap, probably because it's December!
