by the looks of the profile, yes it was!!

We were walking to the car @ Golls (Garden centre/fish place, Just after the nice sweeping left hander after Iron Cross).. I stopped Mrs S. in the car park and said.. "listen!!"

Then you romp past and let off just a little down the road, couple of pops and we both stood there smiling for a short while!

Next time your over, let me know, we'll stand by the roadside again!

LOL,,, just got told off by my other half because of your description of my driving!!
I normally pass that way every 2 weeks, I pick my son up from Redditch,(saturday morning, and take him back sunday morning) and pass through Evesham, using the old roads, (much nicer! ), although today driving fun was stunted somewhat by the worst type of Driving Miss Daisys!! (some were going so slow I'm sure I spotted a tractor contemplating an overtaking manouver!! lol
Me and Chan sometimes stop at that pub (forgot what it's called now!), the one located just outside Evesham, as you head towards Alcester on the old Evesham road

Pah to the other half!!! (in the nicest possible way of course!)

We loved hearing it (and the quick glimpse we got thru the hedge @ golls!) so good on you!

I much prefer using those roads to get out of Evesham, I work on a dragster in that area, so know that strip quite well! Bet you enjoy it closer to Ragley Hall!!

Cheers ,
Love all those roads, especially when driving out of Astwood Bank, and the cars in front turn off the roads left and right, and I have a nice clear bit of windey(SP!!) road to play on!! lol
My other half however, is too scared to drive it above 3K revs, in any gear!, thinking it's gonna blow up!! lol, she even asked why the rev limit lights never came on when she drives it, and they do when I drive it!! (as she's doing 30mph in 4th!!! )

Came back that way today after a fit of madness!

Driving thru Evesham spotted loads of people hitch hiking.. Decided for some reason that it would be a good idea to pick some of them up, turns out they were attempting to get from oxford to edgbaston (via evesham) for charity, 270 teams of 4.. so we were feeling nice and had a good laugh with the folk we took to Edgbaston..

Road works on the way to brum made us re-think the route back, so we came thru astwood bank, and yes, it's all lovely! slightly more entertaining in the battle bug than the luxobarge, but fun all the same!
