Tvr mot and service Scotland?

Hi guys as above my car needs serviced and mot. I took it to dreadnought last time and they were fantastic but a slight oversight on my part has let mot run out.
She needs some work before testing and it Would save finding a trailer if I could find someone to do the full job anyone recommend someone to me

There is TVR Ecosse in Dundee.
Where are you in Scotland? I could do with finding someone closer to Edinburgh if I decide to move back up that way.

If you are taking a vehicle to a pre-arranged MOT, I believe you're covered even if it has run out.She needs some work before testing and it Would save finding a trailer if I could find someone to do the full job anyone recommend someone to me

If the work does not affect the MOT result, I guess you could take the car to a local test station?

I am also in Fife, and did think about using TVR Ecosse, as they are only about 10 miles from me but was not sure. I wanted to get my 2003 t350c checked over throughly, but could not find out much about them , then considered Dreadnought, but was not impressed with them when I spoke to them on the phone, and in the end drove it down to Track V Road. Just a 500 mile plus round trip on a car that had only 6400 miles on the clock but it was worth it.
They completed the 12k service, set-up the suspension, changed some rear bushes, front ball joint, a few other parts and finished it off with the MoT.

TVR Ecosse are fairly new, but they do everything in house (except the MoT), and I've used them a couple of times, inc a 12k service with tappets on my Tuscan.
Barry (the owner) is a TVR fan, been involved with the TVRCC, knows his stuff, and is very approachable. I think this business is a bit of a hobby for him too - he was certainly very happy for me to source parts for him as I had a good deal on new shocks. My experience is that he goes out of his way to ensure everyone gets a decent deal, and doesn't want to do unnecessary work if its not needed (if that makes sense). And they even returned my used brake discs to me :/
Anyway, I've never used Dreadnaught, so I can't compare really. But I've no complaints.

for TVR Ecosse - I just had a 12k service and other bits and pieces done on my Chimaera - great service and value for money. Barry can also get an MOT done and mine was only £20 as I was getting a service done at same time TVR nut said:

Yeah they know there way round AJP and speed 6 engines well Barry has had a long line of speed 6 engine cars over the years and as said been active in the TVRCC for years as well. Give him a call and see what he can do for you.Is eccoss's guy up too speed on a speed six?
