Best Tuscan / Cerbera / Chimaera for Sale

A subjective post...
Let's assume i have a variable budget of £15k-25k to spend and I am thinking about a Tuscan Mk1, a Cerbera or a Chimaera (i know they are all very different and i have driven multiple examples of them all, so i appreciate the individuality of each car).
Let's assume that the question i am asking is what is the current best example of each model available in the PH classifieds and why?
Question i suppose is if I put £25large in a bag, put it in your hand and asked you to accompany me car shopping for the day, based on the adverts and text (and any knowledge you may have of the cars), what is the one that you would reach into the bag and hand some / all of it over for in each area?
Just interested as by hook or crook, i will most likely end up with a TVR in the next couple of months (not sure which yet as each has pros and cons) - i was thinking 996TT of early 997 for the reliability and durability, but i just don't think i can do it - they're nowhere near as exciting as the ferrari's i have owned. I love TVR's in general and i think i need to scratch the itch...

Should i have mentioned that i've spent 3 of the the last 6 weekends looking at cars in various places round the country.
Maybe I should have said that I have borrwed the 1997 TVR Chimaera 4.0 belonging to opne of my ushers to see how it felt as it had been about 4 years since i have driven one and I have Tuscan drives booked.
Or that i have moved the money from my various hidey-holes to a point where i can buy if i need to on the spot.

With your £25 Large You will get a nice 996TT.TVR equals rolling sleeves up as part of enjoyment, having a good breakdown service etc & still laugh about it. So TVR 4.5 Cerb goes like hell ,tests your blood pressure after every fast ride & your wallet = Feel ALIVE!!
996TT start it ,drive it, goes round any corner no fuss etc . 996tt fast ,fun ...but a bit boring after awhile , just that something missing , mind you that something missing maybe be the ride in the breakdown truck lol, but still a Bit boring IMO

My thoughts precisely, I was going this route until I drove one and found out that the steering wheel doesn't adjust for rake... Now not an option...996TT start it ,drive it, goes round any corner no fuss etc . 996tt fast ,fun ...but a bit boring after awhile , just that something missing , mind you that something missing maybe be the ride in the breakdown truck lol, but still a Bit boring IMO
As for unreliable cars, my dad has run a Jensen Interceptor SP since 1983 and since a little one I have helped him work on it. It sounds utterly amazing, goes well (for about 1200 miles between break downs) and has kept the holiday fund bare... But it's brilliant

You need to test drive all 3, they're totally different cars and all 3 have their own handling and engine characteristics. Only then can you really ask us which is best to buy from the classifieds.

first ride in one.
I love the look of a Cerb & the sound ,its an exhilarating car in all depts , Tuscan are good too just not for me. Hope you find something you like ,just remember "Fools rush in" & its a buyers market so take your time ,it will be well worth it & added bonus you will be let out of side roads Lol!

What would I do with 25K?
Simple, 4 step process.

2) Give Rob Robertson £7K to build a proper full house RV8
3) Spend a couple of grand on fuel/hotels and drive it to the South of France for a couple of weeks
4) Put the remaining £3k towards whatever floats your boat
But then again, I'm old school me
If you like your Tiv's a bit more modernist with two less cylinders & less rumble rumble, then Grey Ghost has the answer above.
