So I have just placed a deposit on a new Tuscan 2 Targa, to replace my much beloved Tuscan speed 6 (yr 2000)
He (not she!) was in Purple Illusion (really silver blue for those uninitiated) and sweet as a babies bum but growled and never let me down, an awesome 1st TVR purchase that destroyed all the unreliability issues I have heard.

Please tell me why should I not by the new Tuscan 2, cos my dick tells me I should!! Wife and wallet says why do you need another? Mid life crisis says go for it!

Heart says you might be dead tommorow so go for it.

Wallet says save up and buy something that wont de-value............what ???? Aston DB9 Volante? bit Rich I think.

Two weeks ago was doing 17*mph down the A15 round the hairpins at Messingham & Kirton Lincolnshire at 65/80 and could not stop smiling now I have nothing!! But I got dosh I wanted for my baby, cos of time of year, of course summer always sells.

I will get my new one in Sept if I attend my factory tour 30th June to choose trim & Colour

So what should I do? and what colour and options.

So it was you, you bloody dingbat I was just meandering down the A15 when wham, Bam, thank you Mam!I thought I'd been hit by a damned hurricane, not that the Kirton area is renowned for such things
If your feeling a bit lost there are several of us close by (LordB, Snorky,Peter van Gils) who can come and hoon past your house to remind you of what your missing. Alright I know an S wont be quite as fast but it sounds pretty damned near as good
Hope you get sorted soon.

Go for the new Tuscan if you like the less aggressive look (in and out). Keep you're current Tuscan if you like the aggressive styling and the lovely front view. I'm sure a new Tuscan will be just as reliable - I never had a problem with my Tuscan (2001) apart from the alarm draining the battery during the winter as I was only able to take it out on weekends due to work commitments

Ordered a Tuscan S at the show cos I still want a 4ltr engine and feel the rear spoiler still makes the car look different. Oh how I hate the new lights. Oh how I miss the indicators on the roll bar, but Bpool wont budge, I guess I will just have to get used to it. It seems to me they have regretfully softened the Tusc, and put the agression in the Sag, but you CANT TAKE THE ROOF OFF. Rant over. Does anyone else think the new lights and front end make it look like a carp? I think I will have to try and get fish scales in my paint job.

Hi Lady, I still like the front the changes are quite subtle, I take your point about fish looking eyes and do prefer the old head lamps, if they`ed kept them and put the new ones in the lower front spoiler it would have complemented them. But the 350 and the sag also opt for fully enclosed lamp clusters. I`m with you and it does not appeal as much as the old.
I see from your profile your Tuscan is also purple illusion (or it looks that way) love that colour........starting to hurt again now cos mines gone! I may change my mind when I get to the factory and go for the Sagaris but doubt it. I did find the old one hard and like the idea that they have softened the ride, would like to try before I fully buy, but not possible yet.
