Hello you guys...
Sorry to raise the subject of the Growl again, but I just want to remind everyone to book in as soon as poss. We've only got about 20 cars booked in at the mo and that's not enough to make the thing viable. I know there's been lots of debate about the Growl and I don't want to go over old ground, but to clarify:
Yes - the idea behind the event is to see how many Griffs we can get together in one place.
Yes - a couple of national car mags are interested in covering the event if we can get enough Griffs.
Yes - it's open to all TVR owners - everyone's welcome.
Yes - it's supported by TVRCC - we're all covered by their Insurance.
Yes - there'll be a piss up on Saturday night with a BBQ
Yes - like models will parked together.
Yes - there'll be a few trade stands to have a look at.
Yes - you get entry to the museum. With the wrist band you can go in and out as often as you like over the weekend.
Yes - it's only £15 per person for the weekend.
Yes - there is a booking form and you can find it XXX (I need Ted to tell me where it is!) Email me if you want a copy...
Yes - it's Paul and me doing the organising (not TVRCC, although they are very kindly supporting with admin and insurance etc)
Yes - we do need some help - it's been a bit light on volunteers (all except you Maggit and Mrs Fish of course!)
If we can't get enough interest then we might have to call the whole thing off. So come on and get booked up - what're you waiting for?

It's on Saturday 31st July and Sunday 1st August 2004 at the Heritage Motor Museum at Gaydon in Warwickshire.
Overnight accommodation is available at the Ashorne Hill Conference Centre just 4 miles down the road. It's a grade 2 listed building with magnificent views over the Warwickshire countryside. There's a long drive down to the buildings with barrier controlled entry/exit - so it's very secure for parking our lovely Tiv's.
They want £30 per person for the night including bed and breakfat. I've also managed to persuade them (with a little help from Emma at HMC) to drop the single supplement so if you're coming on your own, it's still only £30 for the night.

It's the same price whether you come for one day or two. I know Supercar Sunday was cheaper but they don't charge themselves to hire the arena to park the cars - it's a wopping £500 for half the arena

Please help - if it rains you lose £15 - it wont break the bank - it might even focus the mind to go and still have a great day in the wet (remember Chatsworth House)

It was £5 for Supercar Sunday which included entrance to the musuem as a one off as the event had been away for a couple of years. If you had then bought a museum ticket for the pasenger and for the following day (I know it was a one day event) the total would have been £29(£5+£8+£8+£8)so £1 cheaper.
And the weather will be better in July/August.
And you will get a commemorative gift (If we get enough bookings).
And there will be lots more TVR's and accessory suppliers so all in all bloody good value.

i've been gaydon 4 times in the last 2 years and will be there on the 4th of july so as you can imagine the museum holds little interest for me. frankly i feel £30 to enter a show of this size is too expensive for me. i would only be able to attend the saturday as sunday i will be at another show at donnington park which also offers a full track calendar at only £10 each which IMO is much better value.

unfortunately not, coz again no saturday only tickets available and i don't think £80 is VFM for just the Saturday..
i'm not sure support comes into it, i have to support my other club on that particular day, i am involved in running it and its our 20th year aniversary event!
i did make the sunday of PF last year
