Which way round :-)

Was at the nec today at classic car and wondered over to our tvr stand. Lovely yellow cerb up in the air......had a look underneath and noticed his splitter was the wrong way around. :-) mentioned it to one guy there who has a 450 chimp and he bounced with glee hoping to wind his friend up later.

This is why I enjoy our Mark.

Ps also have pic which I can upload later but if anyone is going tomorrow it's worth a look :-)

A Cerbera splitter is fitted in the other direction to a Chimaera/ Griffith.

Im pretty certain Steve the owner of the yellow car in question would have it the right way round,he is that particular about his cars.

If the splitter is the other way around surely that defeats the object? (and don't call me surely!) is this why all cerb drivers are frazzelled, their front end bouncing about all the time :-)

On a cerbera it is not a splitter but an aerofoil to deflect air away from under the bonnet, basicly creating a low pressure area under the engine bay.

This is the reason we were given when i was working at the factory as when i started at the factory i was just working on Cerbera's in the rectification department before moving on to the service department and it was one of the item's we had to fit before the car went out.
