PRRT fitted to a V8
Discussion
Hello all, I need some advice, has anyone fitted a PRRT (Pressure Relief Remote Thermostat) to thier Griff/Chim/Cerb/other large engined car? there are three types and although they have been fitted to Elises/MGFs quite extensively i can find no information on which one is best for a larger engined car.
PRRT Colours
Cream is 87°C With Medium Spring: first being used on FreeLander & MGF/TF.
Black is 82°C With Hard Spring: Not suitable for Rover K engines.
Grey is 82°C With Light Spring: Latest being used on Freelander (MGF/TF ?). Land Rover replace the old stat (87°C) with this one if they have to open the coolant circuit.
