16 months is way too long to be TVR'less, this time it's a Chimp 500.

Picked her up this morning and did 200 miles, every one of them a reminder of just how much they make you smile.

great to see you back in tvr ownership, but you`ve left the griff boys open to a lot of stick by going from a griff to a chimhehe

Thanks Clive, I would've prefered another Griff but prices are a bit daft at the moment and although Chimps are slightly uglier wink you do get more car for your money.

Thought so. They looked after my cars for many years.

Nice looking motor, am I alone in prefering the Chim to a Griff? Griff always looks stubby to me- runs for cover!

Welcome back. I know what you mean - swore from the moment I shook on the deal to sell my previous Tiv that I'd be back with another one.

I did the opposite...when I sent my Tuscan back to the dealer on a low loader & told him where he could shove it I swore I'd never have another TVR.

...in fact since 1996 I have been TVR less for exactly four weeks hehe

Went to a good home in Europe, apparently the guy has several other TVR's.

Still kicking myself for selling it.

I suppose at least she is being looked after.

You old Griff was most certainly a stunning example and still to this day the only one I have seen in that Aston Green, which really suits the car. Those Ford RS Soft spokes also looked great on that car.

Will sir be joining us at the Growl this year? FFG will make you park the chimp away from the Griffs though wink

Hoping to attend lots of events next year, Growl included. My other half is more inclined to come along as she prefers the Chimp "it's not as fast and a lot quieter than the other one was".

This will change over the winter evil

Got a set of SP12's to go on this one, I think they suit the Chim a lot more than the Griff.
