Exhaust coating

I have heard that you can get your pipes/manifolds coated inside and out with a ceramic insulater which reduces engine bay temp (and inside cabin) and also improves performance. I know you can use a wrap but by the time this has been put on, you may as well take the manifold off - any experience????

ACT list ceramic coating on there webby for £175 plus the dreaded.. dunno how much you'd have to pay for removal and refitting though or how long it takes?

if you find out though let me know as its something i've considered, combined with pre-cat removal

I wrapped mine, yes fiddly, but worth it. need a coat hanger to grab the wrap as you feed it under the pipe.
