where can i get the carpet edging sewn on , and does anyone know where i can get it done around the northants area.

Im in Northants too, and need carpet edging..... spooky. Great oppurtunity for a retired carpet edger living in Northants.

Have you tried an independant carpet shop....

Tried independents and all they pointed to was binding which is different, so has anyone got a sewing machine i can use or any other help...spooky eh?

Got to get mine done to just changed them all in the chimp. But i'm not in northhamton... i'm in bedford, and know of guy in Ravensden (just down the road from you) that does carpet edge whipping (wool) If you are interested let me know and i'll get his number sorted out next week
