No need to change these kevlar clutches as they never wear our. Flywheels are only good for 10,000 miles though!
Kevlar gives much better friction than the standard linning, and is much more resistant to heat.
It won't cause any wear on the flywheel, the kevlar linning is especially developped for cltuches.
I Thought that with all clutch breakings I read on TVR, someone had already tried.
Interesting, I would have thought that a Kevlar based clutch lining would confer the same sort of advantages as with Kevlar brake pads (i.e EBC green stuff etc) - for those of us who think they are a good thing (see previous threads). Considering that a clutch is fundamentally a type of disc brake, a suitably devevloped kevlar based friction lining would give; high heat tolerance, fade resistance (equating to low slip when punished), minimal dust production and IMHO low wear on discs etc / flywheel.
I for one would be very interested if such a thing were available. Is this a possibility?

That is exactly what it is about, less agressive, better friction quality, better heat resistance, very progressive.
I have not yet tried another solution that consist in kevlar sectors instead of a lining.
Main differences are:
-even better heat resistance.
-less progressive.
Aren't that type of clutch available in the UK ?
There are several issues:
-transport (I live in France where sadly TVR are so rare).
-lining is made according to the original disk itself to fit the new lining perfectly, so that a brand new disk is required.
-small series (10 pieces) is required
for a full kevlar lined disk. These are many obstacles as you can see.
I'll ask for the possibility of a single disk fitted with kevlar sectors if ever you are curious about
