As noted above, ABS off works best there. Some would argue it also works best in practice if you happen to have a skilled driver, a smooth track and a fully-anticipated braking event.

But I still think for any remotely average driver on the incosistent surface of real roads, and particularly if it's an unplanned emergency stop, ABS is a better bet.

A good few years ago I had a MGZS180.
ABS, EBD that you couldn't switch off.
It used to frustrate me when it interfered as imho it came in far too early.
Much happier without it.

Can't you see that those poor dogs already have frozen balls/joints without then dumping a load of snow on them!

Reminds me of a jaunt across an Irish beach in my old V8 Disco, slammed on the brakes at 50 and after the car pulled up with no drama, checked out the beach which revealed nothing more then 2 half inch deep grooves, impressive.
