Im going to be dropping the gearbox from my Tuscan to do the clutch. Ive got some 500mm+ axle stands as I know from the Sagaris manual the car need to be raised 500mm plus. I know the standard jacking points but Im concerned with raising the car a corner at a time 500mm.

Is this safe for the chassis, I dont want to put too much stress on it and the body flex. has any one else raised their car up onto tall stands.

I always raise one end at a time with 2 trolly jacks.

I have one decent one and a cheap £30.00 Halfrauds one, does the trick and doesn't strain the chassis, (outriggers may not be very sound).
