Top Gear on the Rover V8

Programme to celebrate the history of one of the greatest engines ever made

The Rover V8 has powered all manner of cars in the past not least of which was the range of TVRs that took TVR into relatively large scale production for a specialist car maker.

BBC's Top Gear will be celebrating this fact and recently asked for owners of Rover V8 powered cars to join them at the Heritage Motor Museum at Gaydon to help in the making of a piece for the TV programme.

A number of PHers attended including Neil Hyde who sent us these pictures.

What no Griffs?

I guess they just cant believe that such a great car shares the same engine as the Chim.
(why so many wedges? one of each model would have been better).

Its the Chims that I always see driving around with the roof up, and they have no excuse with that big boot!

Dusty, I am not going to lower myself and have yet another debate with you about which car is superior

........however, I must point out that it is a well known fact that a very high % of Griff drivers enjoy "physical relations" with unattractive livestock.
