BEWARE - NEW CAR-JACKING SCAM !

I was just sent this on email, so don't know if it's true - but it does make sense! This info is (allegedly) from a Manchester Police Officer.

Imagine you walk across the car park, unlock your car and get inside. You lock your doors, start the engine and shift into reverse. You look into the rear-view mirror to back out of your parking space and you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window obstructing your view.

So, you unlock your doors and jump out to remove the paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view.... As you reach the back of your car, the car-jackers appear from nowhere, jump into your car and take off.

Your engine might be running or keys in the ignition, your handbag (if you have one) would also be in the car (they'd then know where you live and have your house keys - nice!), and cap it all they practically mow you down as they speed off in your car.

Sounds like crap to me. Chances are that you'd walk to your car, see the paper and pull it off before you got in. You'd also see blokes lurking about..

Good old trend. They really are about 20 times better than all the other AV vendors (no I dont represent them). The very fact that they even bothered to put this in there database is great!

For getting car keys, you cant beat the old "kick the front door in & point the gun at their head"

As warned by west Midlands police.
