Okay I'm a 37 year old Chartered Manufacturing Engineer (Six sigma black belt is my current bullshit job title) but I remember at 18 wanting to work for TVR. 19 years later I wonder if I should revamp my CV for a crack at my original Dream. (I'm only down the coast in Formby so not far if I get a boat)

I could be wrong, but I think he goes by the name of Wheeler. Peter Wheeler.

Just make sure you don't include the 'Q' word.

What a great idea - Speed Six Sigma!

Redefining the latest management thinking!

I think he's put his "finger" on just what's needed......

3.4 failures per million opportunities.

My current job is to save money (anywhere), by looking at non manufacturing processes, which is why I keep going to Melton Mowbray to an assembly systems builder for the development of automated test machines. I keep popping into TMS as they are on the same industrial estate.

So current projects are :

Excess and Obsolete Stock (£3m stores and £600K is slow moving or obsolete)

Automating Test(I'm loved by the shopfloor as first machine gets 4 people redeployed)

Fixing Warranty Leakage (JCB machines have our hydraulics and 3% leak)

Buying my Grandmother Flowers on the Internet. (According to wife that's the most important thing today)
