Peter Wheelers Tasmin Holden prototype the ‘White Elephant’ will be trailered to next months West Lancs TVRCC meeting on Wednesday 4th August at the Rigbye Arms.

If anyone would like to have a look round the beast before she is locked away for her 22 month restoration then this will be your only chance!

By the way - if you want to come down early & have a bite to eat the pub food is fantastic... as especially prepared by Dave 'The Tango Tuscan' Jones...

Put the new fuel pump on last night & once we had earthed it properly the system pressurised just great (kingcole pressed the test valve & sprayed himself with Optimax... )

Unfortunately we appear to have zero voltage at the injectors - so I'm off shortly to try to cure it.

Either the cam sender is dead, or the ECU is dead, or a solenoid is on strike...

Well no one said this was going to be easy did they!!

I think it's absolutely fantastic that you've managed to rescue this beast and intend to restore it. Magic! Can't wait to see it in all it's glory at the NEC Classic Car Show (???) and future TVR shows.

Just one thing, how do you know it will take 22months to resore?

Good question!

Cash flow dictates that 12 months to do the job properly could be borderline..

Work & family stuff means that 18 months might be pushing it a bit..

And as we love the Tatton show so much we plan to have the car completed, road tested & ready to show there for the first time for the end of May 2006..

Perfect!

The Tatton Park Classic Car & Bike Show is on twice a year - the fave one is around the first weekend of June. The venue is Tatton Park in Knutsford in Cheshire. The place is packed out with all kinds of stuff from Porkers to Marcos to Jags to Triumph to Fords & Americans & lots more.

Fab autojumble too - a great day out...
