TVR Virus

I got an email from what looked to be Surrey TVR CC

It has a virus, just thought I would warn people.

They replcate by owners taking other people out in them who become so smitten that they buy one themselves.

I can think of some things, including the words "quality" and "reliability" but they'd be unfair on TVR.


But you'd certainly hear the phrase "they all do that, Sir"

Thanks for the heads up. We do indeed run this e-group but as it is by invitation only if you have received something that you weren't expecting just don't open it. I'll have a chat with Yahoo because I think the issue is with them.

A TVR virus would have a slightly lower rate on infection than others, but it'd be 'kin potent.

On a more serious note, I run a firewall and continuously updated anti-virus software on the home PC and I don't send emails via my ISP, so I doubt it's from me. It's very likely to have been spoofed like the man says and as always, if you're not expecting the email, bin it.

If anything does come from the egroup and you're a member, remember that if authentic it's only a text message, so it'll be small and have no attachments.

I have had similair from several of my e-mail address list. Somehow it has been read, but my antivirus stops them opening, They are all 24Kb. Just a point to look out for??

As several TVR models are named after nasty things/people, the all new "TVR Virus" may appear at the next motor show.

Me to also from yahoo e groups. BT/Yahoo on line virus spam thingy blocked it. But I have a Mac. Can I be smug now

You can be smug if you convert one of our tripos servers to use..

NO know viruses hit tripos..

Being very in the dark here, isn't tripos a holiday destination island in Greece?
