I have just sold my E28 M5 and wish a TVR Chimaera, Grifith or Tamora. My problem is that the wife is short, and when in the passenger seat she is to low to see out easily. I only need possibly an inch (25 mm to those modern folks, is it feasible to raise the seat using packers as it is only bolted through the floor.

Help please as if I cannot sort my enjoyment could be curtailed!!!

Can think of no reason why you couldn't fit a 25mm full length packer under the runners and then bolt through the runner, packer and chassis.

You could use 1" strips of wood under each runner, that would give you the bost use looking for.

there are already two little brackets (about 30mm) under the front seat mountings.....

Maybe these could be moved to the rear and a pair twice as tall made for the front scratchchin
