Hi all I'm toying with the idea of becoming R/O for Berkshire region of the TVR Car Club. I spoke to Mel at the club this evening who was really helpful I was just wondering how many berks members there are ? It would be great to get the monthly meet on 3rd Tuesday of the month at "The Peacock Farm" Bracknell in full swing again !

Hi Calvin,
I was thinking about this myself a cour of weeks ago. The summer meets were pretty good but it is odd that there's so many people in Berks but the region seemed to be a tough one to organise. There's also the breakaway TVR nomads to think about!!

I may be able to help out as secondary RO if u need a hand, as I'm pretty keen to get more involved.

Might be worth getting Roy (RoyE6 on here) down to the pub and have a chat about how he found it before he left?
I need to return a cd to him so will be seeing him in the next week or so if it'd help?

We started going to Berks meets last year but work got in the way and it also somtimes falls on the same week as surrey, so we do not do both.

Great bunch of poeple and will try and make more of an effort this year.

Maybe it would be better having it on 1st Friday of the month, most people dont have work the next day then either.

Whos going along tonight ? unfortunatley my Chim's still off the road at the moment so I wont be going this month. next month will be the next for me. It would still be great if people went along though and got the Berks area up and running again.

To be honest, just a paragraph would do.. to show its existance.

Didn't go myself unfortunatley but the TVRCC forum says there was a good turnout. I'll have to go to next months !

Yep, I went for the first time, met a bunch of very friendly people... Looking forward to our new RO turning up next month and letting us know what he's got in store for us !!

I attended this event last year along with "BrightYellowTVR" and "smartypants". "MrChips" also made a late appearance. This year is it's 3rd year and I will be attending again and would hope that we can get a larger TVR showing (outnumbered by the Porks last year). Please reply and let me know if you would be willing to give up your day to help raise money for a good cause. I attach a couple of links to last years pictures and also this years flyer.
