Seriously thinking of just blowing the budget and getting a tvr T350 as I am currently driving much less miles than normal. However the car would just be sat on a drive most of the time. Are they much of a target for thieves? Obv v expensive but also prob quite hard to shift. Not like a Scooby etc.

What is the standard security like?

Would you leave one sat on a drive all week or not???

I can't imagine they're that attractive to thieves.

Not much good broken for parts - too small a community and hooky parts will ne spotted.

No good to export to Pakistan / Afganistan etc - they all want 4X4s.

No good for doing a robbery - no space for blaggers and loot.

What's insurance like - that should be a bit of an indication as to whether they are stolen a lot.

These type of cars will only be stolen to order, random theft is highly unlikely. I park my car anywhere and don't worry but to say that, I have had 12 valve caps stolen over the 6 years I have had the car. Now have plain black plastic ones!.

I used to have a Cosworth and hardly a week went by without someone trying to nick it. As soon as I got a TVR I have had no trouble at all. Such as a Scooby can be stripped of moved on i would think without too much trouble, a TVR on the other hand would be a problem as they are too noticeable and would put the thieves at a higher risk of getting caught.
