Good to see loads of friendly faces at Sheringham today....lovely food at Crofters....and when you all left I got a nice bit of video of you all sounding noisy and naughty
Pity it rained all the bloody way up there so we couldn't take our roooooves off, but hope you all had a nice run to Hunstanton (which I couldn't make
)

Well they finally got there, just as I was having to depart! I`d gone for a walk along the cliffs while waiting but I still heard them going into the carpark from about a third of a mile away, especially the Cerbs
Ian - I've just realised that you were sat behind me all the way from Kings Lynn to Hunstanton today!
I was in that crappy little gold saxo diesel in front of you.
I had no idea you lot were going to be up there otherwise I would have taken the Ferrari and gatecrashed!
You were just leaving the carpark at the clifftop as I was walking back to the car and you went just after that silver/grey Tuscan.
I had no bloody idea it was you otherwise I would flagged you down and introduced myself
What a strange coincedence

D`oh, shall I count that as a "spotted" then
We`ll get together soon I`m sure
Keep an eye on the East Anglian threads for info as there`s usually something going on
Edited to add: sshh, don`t tell everyone I was sat behind a Saxo for over 15 miles, I`ll never live it down!!

Yeah, better not mention that I kept pulling right over to let you past but you just sat there like a big girl! I had my ears open waiting to hear you nail it

Oops, busted! Well spotted!
Did anyone get busted by that policeman who was hiding behind the parked cars with the speed gun?
I was walking up behind him for a chat when I suddenly heard an almightly roar then spotted a silver Tuscan trundling along.
The poor copper almost jumped out of his skin and looked rather excited when he held the gun up and pointed it at him. He looked like his dog had died or something when he discovered the Tusc wan't speeding.

I saw him, but had been slowed down by another car anyway
Sorry I didn`t give you
but the "crappy little gold saxo diesel" I had in front of me was veering all over the road like he was drunk and I didn`t want to risk it!!

Well...after a horrendous traffic jam that had around a dozen assorted Suffolk, Norfolk and Mid Essex TVRs and a couple of Nobles sitting and crawling for around 3/4s of an hour we finally got to Sherringham ...just a little late...!!!
But once out of the traffic it was a good run, enjoyable dinner and another good run to Hunstanton.
Ray and I stayed behind and had a nice walk along the lovely beach.......
Good to see you Ian...thanks for the piccy of the Peril.
Thanks to Suffolk's Jerry and Teresa for taking over the organising of the day.....especially with all the difficulties traffic wise.
And Happy Birthday to Teresa for yesterday.
(Don't get all excited Mrs Fish...it's not a birthday thread
)
Nick...if you could mail me a copy of the vid...I would be grateful. (on broadband, no probs there)

No we were very happy that Martin (silver Tuscan S) returned to warn us he was there. It was quite amusing driving passed him in a convoy of TVR's at 25mph!
It was a great run out and back - 210 miles roundtrip from Felixstowe for us. Weather and traffic could have been better, but there you go.

Keep your voice down Pauline, don't upset Nick, we had to give him some pills to calm him down at our table.
It was a shame the road works, traffic jams and weather seemed to be conspiring against us but, nevertheless, it was a nice lunch with good company and the sun did show itself just after lunch. I see the optimism of everyone whipping their tops off (Oo er missis) in the car park at Sheringham looked short lived by Hunstanton.
Roll on Summer....... please!

I`ll second that - I`m getting very professional at getting the hard top on and off now. I timed it yesterday at 23 seconds from boot button clicking to window struts locking
- without the "condom" on though

Oy, someone mention my name???!!!!
I was a little stressed sitting in Norwich city centre on a day out, when I can do that any day of the week!!!!
Next time, I offer to coordinate the Norfolk end of things if needed....I think we'll avoid the city centre!!!
It was ok once we got onto the open road though....and if I help coordinate things, I'll get in touch with the man upstairs and book some decent weather
