TVR Tuscan 2 Re-trim and fitting better seat recomendations
Discussion
Hi all, the title says it all really. Can anyone recomend a decent trimmer in or around the London area. I know about DC but really don't fancy going up to Blackpool. Ideally i'd like something conservative in a tan or biscuit leather, rather than the normal TVR house style- i'm not a big fan of of bright, two-tone leather interiors with obvious stitching. Also while i'm at it i'd like to replace the seats, i don't know if it's because i'm tall, but i find them really uncomfortable, particulalrly on long journeys. Has anyone got any recomendations? Cheers

I'd go for the Sparcos that were in the last batch of cars (and now toted as part of the 'improvements' in the 'new TVR' package...). Keeps it sort of OEM but with excellent support and quality.
The Sparco seats were slightly raised and don't have the option of taking out the seat-base, so if your tall, I'd try them out before getting them trimmed. No point having a stunning interior that you can no longer fit in.... The Lotus Elise seats are a common swap for the Griffith / Chimaera boys and would fit well.
You'll get good money on ebay for your old seats so shouldn't cost you much to swap.
