Short term hire

Hi all,

I'm looking to rent a TVR over next weekend. I've done some shopping, and it's all either;

• Too expensive (I'm looking around £400 all in)
• Age exclusive (I am 26)
• Booked up and unavailiable
• Not a TVR (I doubt I will fit in an Elise)

or

• Too far away (I am based in Herts/Beds border)

Does anyone know, or could they recommend, a short term TVR rental at short notice please? I would like to get my fix and I am buying myself an interim present.

Thank you for your recommendation! They are a bit far though, it adds a 400-mile round trip, or £1.50p per mile delivery charge on to the whole thing though

They have access to TVRs just not sure if they hire them out you would need to ring and see

Thanks, I have already sent an enquiry to this company. I think I'm out of luck though to be honest.

It is just money that can go to "The Fund" really.

There are not that many companies who hire out TVRs, when I was looking in 2007 there were very few even back then, but then I was looking to hire a Tuscan 2 convertible, hired it from Rio Prestige, but they no longer provide TVRs

That experience alone then led me to buy my own.

You may have to either consider travelling further to hire one, or consider an alternative make of car

They are definately worth every penny, that's for sure, and if you have to travel further at further expense to experience it, you will not regret it

As interested as I am, the thought of paying nearly the same as the value of the rental to have a car from a distance away is a bit of a sting. It could also involve taking time off from work to pick the car up and return it.
It was a big ask to try and find one in just over a week.

I hired a Griff nearly ten years ago from TVR centre Barnet when they were there, incidentaly i see in the forums that very one burnt out in a tunnel, shame it was really nice.

I knew i would have one someday, i could not afford a Griff back then so i bought an S3 that i had for 8 years, save your money as you won't need to be convinced whatever TVR you choose, spend on some fuel when you get it.

I enquired about the "Beat any quote" boast using Bespoke as a benchmark - That would have been £350 including the March discount. About half price from the normal rental from supercarexperiances.
Surprisingly, I have yet to recieve a reply!
