Hi does any body know who can weld/braze a small hole approx 1mm dia. in my exhaust manifold on a 4.0 Pre-cat
Griffith-idealy in the South Lincs/Cambs area.(does anybody know if Offords weld/braze)

Sorry cant help you there..There is one in bedford i know of but that may be too far

I'm quite sure Offords can do it. They weld up the silencers for their exhaust mods.

From my very recent 'same' problem I understand that you require to have the manifold 'mig welded'. Apparently this is much hotter than gas weld and penetrates much deeper giving superior repair. You may have seen in my earlier post that my off side manifold was removed/welded and re-fitted with all new gaskits for £112 all in.
