Power steering rack needed
Discussion
Id seriously consider using a rack off a different car eg polo, clio etc
Seems to me more hassle than its worth trying to get a good tvr rack,
Its a simple conversion IMO
Just a plate to convert the rack and different hoses
Failing that Peter has at least 400 racks in his garage all with play ask him

Already spoke to Peter this morning as he is borrowing the trailer, just listening to his attempts at sorting the problem is enough to put me of.
Have looked at the electric steering column option but from what i've seen so far the feedback is light and vague, although i was told a better ECU is now available! looks like i'll be retro fitting!

At its current price you could afford to chuck the rest away! Seriously though, split all the wishbones, diff etc and you could end up with a cheap ps rack.
Not connected with the seller ... Blah, blah

I’m currently installing the Corsa B system with a modified ECU and road speed sensor from DC Electronics. In theory the system can be calibrated to turn off the assistance above a chosen road speed. Guess what speed I’m going to choose, yes, 0.5 mph. I only want assistance for parking and I certainly don’t want assistance at 70mph down the motorway.
Interestingly when I visited DC Electronics they had a touring car and a Caterham in their workshop they were fitting EPAS. It’s interesting to think touring cars run with EPAS although they use a newer and more expensive system than the Corsa.
I know you were originally against PAS so this might be the ideal system for you as you get the best of both worlds.
I hope to see your car at the Griff Growl
