Welcome! Do you or wooddy have real plans to buy a TVR?

I didnt think I could afford one till a few weeks ago, but for the price of an MX5, you could buy a soooper doooper S series TVR! I just did, and for the money nothing comes close.

For grin factor alone, you'd be 70% towards that T350!

Look into the S forum (watch out for podie though ) I'll take you for a spin when your next down sussex way

Editted becoz I can t spel

Hi UKbob I've already got an S3 at the moment and couldn't agree more about the experience.

Considering whether or not to change to a Griff or a Cerb at the moment or keep the S and get a respray and the full podie!

(oh yeah - Hi Sarah! )

Cheers

Chris

So Lady wood's already been turned on to the TVR experience then

I ventured out just to oogle upon my parked and sleeping S tonight, and despite treading socked-foot upon a slug, it was worth going down just to look

Its a drivers car, for sure. Lady, do you mind me asking what youd like more about an mx5 than your very own S? [biased] [/biased]

We won't be able to walk for all the beards trailing on the ground soon.

PS: What's a full-Podie? I hope just hope that a half-Podie isn't wearing a bra.

Apparently, in the 70's, this chap called podie (Pronounced POD-IE not PO-DIE) suped up his reliant robin so much that...

I could lie, but I'd be found out come sunrise, when Podie awakens

I'm curious about his nickname, "Cue". Presumably a bit like "chalky" white, "hurricane" higgins or "dusty" springfield, all of which i understand... so why "cue" Podie?

[quote=RAW-SEWedge]Hi Lady Wood,

(/quote)

i totaly agree with you i would rather have a wedge i do have a soft spot for it but unfortunatly yet again it all comes down to money and how little i have until this sept anyways

Hence the reason for the MX5 substitute as i only have a couple of grand to blow im thinking of getting an old reg MX5 (about a H reg ish with the blinky lights @ two grand) cleaning it up to make it look special again although i will no doubt have to call on woody's services in that dept

oh and that im only little at the age of 20 im sure those evil insurance companies will not look at me twice if i ask for insurance on a TVR

sorry about the late reply im working on site for a month fitting heating pipework in a hospital and am missing the office computer terribly.

Thank you all for a nice welcome it is much appreciated
