Hi everyone.

I'm trying to source some reflex charcoal after overfilling with fuel has ruined the back of my car: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I was under the impression that reflex charcoal was in the region of £800 a litre, however the stuff being sold by International Colours is about £400 a litre. Is the stuff any good? Seems very cheap if so and considering the body shop say they only need 250ml (£120), this could have just made my day! smile

You need to be careful as complex colours like that may not have been mixed as the specification suggests.

It might be a good idea to contact Surface & Design in Blackpool as they have access to some of the later model build information and may have the exact spec of the paint on your car.

They may even have some of the colour as they have sprayed a Reflex Charcoal car recently.

Thanks for the advice. I've just just given S&D a call. It turns out they have just sprayed a reflex charcoal car but used all the paint up!

Coming back to me with a quote, but they estimate it will be just over £200 for 250ml delivered.

I bought some touch up from them in Reflex Charcoal. The match seems very good albeit only in very small areas, and even though they were cheaper for the product (£20) I think IIRC the delivery was expensive :scratchin: I'll need to check when I get home.
