Another Work 'Who would win' question

I was recently given a small touring caravan (I know...), however boss is going on about how they are a menace on the roads etc (to which I agree but thats not the point). So said right, I'll just tow it with the TVR then and then I'd be overtaking him. However he still reckons that his car would be faster. So question is what would accelerate quicker, say to 60: My Tuscan towing a caravan weighing around 1000 kilo's or his 2.0 diesel Audi A4 130hp??

Just as a note I've got no intention of caravan with the TVR its just hypothetical..!

Well the TVR would be quicker 0 to 60. I think a 60 - 0 test might prove a little more tricky in the TVR though...

Well, even with an extra 1000kg to tow, your tuscan still had a better power to weight ratio than the Audi (roughly 100 bhp/tonne plays about 150). My money is on Blackpool.

I think you should get the Tuscan re-mapped to be severly over fuelled, that way there's a higher percentage chance of setting light to the caravan as you lift off having reached 60.

That way, you'll have proved your boss wrong and rid the world of one more van.
