The thread on egged TVR's which has turned into a discussion about horses and cyclists has got me thinking, If TVR had made a bike (like Porsche do I believe), what would it have been like scratchchin

I tried to buy a Land rover bike last year ( Push bike ) It had a Carbon Fiber frame and a good chain set but i placed the order and they were out of Stock frown

Tvr's version would have to be a Down hill mountain bike as it would have to be fast and lairy smile

it would be rusty, springs too soft, dampers too hard, weld snot everywhere, water bottle would leak and when you tried to adjust the saddle the bolt would shear.

would look fast though and if you spent twice as much money over, rebuilding it and improving components, then it would be the fastest, baddest looking machine on the road...

There was talk (and it was only that IIRC) of a TVR Motorbike years ago, it was a concept in More Crap than News, Was a V8 naturally very radical looking.

B ritish sports car manufacturer TVR's next model is set to have only two wheels - because it could be a motorcycle! The new owner of the Blackpool firm, Russian Nikolai Smolensky, is a big bike fan and suggested the idea when he first took over.
A company spokesman said: "It's something that could happen. If there is enough interest in one, we will probably do it."

The TVR would require a power output of more than 150bhp, a 0-60mph sprint time of around three seconds and a maximum speed in excess of 160mph.
But while a superbike is most in keeping with TVR's image, an unfaired urban machine could be a possibility, too. These types of motorcycle are increasing in popularity, as their engines' mix of a large capacity and a high torque figure are great around town.
