What's her/his name

Ok, the GF insists on naming my car. I've never given any of them a name, they have always been referred to as 'she' But I know quite a few people that name theirs.

So, does yours have a name and if so, share it with us and tell us why that name

Mines referred to as "she" (which annoys the previous owner) but is also called "Trev" (of course).

(I know the first two can't really be names as such, but that last (third) has sort of stuck).

Hi, mine's called Austin because the reg. is ....ELY.
I've put an Austin badge on the glovebox lid just to
confuse passengers. Could be Austin Powers, or Austin-ELY.
Works for me.

Previous owner calls her tiff or trev.


My wife calls her 'Betty'.....

My MGB roadster is called Dave (coz everyone should have a mate called Dave), my MGBGT V8 is called Brian, and the Chim I normally refer to as 'The Tiv' or 'The Beast'

My old Ocean Haze Griff was called 'Tsunami' which seemed very apt given the way the power comes in awe inspiring waves
my current metallic green one is Bluebottle....i know i know, it should be Greenbottle really, but bluebottle sounded betty and i'm A Goons fan
