How wildly different are the chassis on a T car, firstly from each other but primarily from the Griff/Chim chassis?

The T cars seem to drive better out of the box, is this primarily due to a stiffer chassis?

And ultimately, this all leads to a casual wondering as to the feasibility of fitting a T car chassis to a Griff body.

I believe the T cars have a 3 inch longer chassis, so that could be some serious butchery! The chassis rails are lower and a little wider in the engine bay (which allows the down and back exhausts (as proven with LS converted t-cars).

The differences in the main backbone are very very small, the main difference to add stiffness is the front and rear hoops, but in percentage terms these don't give a massive increase (compared to a very modern production sportscar).

Imho the main difference fron the Griff/Chim to the t-cars is in the front suspension setup.
