The Pope Mobile is dead, piston through the block.

I understand that the search may well be on for similar or worse cars to replace the current Perodua range that is on offer.

Sad news indeed. It was always so stable on the M40 wink

Its going to take something special to beat that car.

On the bright side one of the other Perodua's can now have a radio/cd unit so we can listen to tunes whilst bombing about.

yikes

I had the pleasure of the Pope Mobile less than two weeks ago. I even treated it to some of the finest Mobile One 10W40 oil.

That's what did her in then. 10/40 was too thin for the poor girl! I will miss her too. Fond memeories of overtaking much more powerful cars on the way back from a day in Oxford. Managed 86mph!!! It was downhill with the wind behind us mind! Slipstreaming a motorbike helped too hehe You should've seen the face on the kid doing the valet parking at the Compleat Angler in Marlow when I threw him the keys... Quality! rofl

They could be one or more of these.

What are they?

That car was brilliant.

The looks, the performance, the handling, the radio, but best of all the speedo. No idea what velocity I was going but could be sure wasnt breaking the limit by too much!

Well, if you look at the photo's I posted earlier in this thread, Jason has only gone and got one as a loan car, has any one yet guessed what they are?

Merc stories, is it OK to speak ill of the dead if it is a car, I think so so spill the beans:-)
