So I am running in my fresh gearbox on normo oil but want to treat it to the good stuff.

What grade do i want to be ordering and where from?

Thats good. Its got fresh ATF in now. John Reid said 150 miles would do for running in.

I will change the oil when i get to York on May 6th wink
Should have about 300 miles on it by then.

I remember some years ago when you'd swapped to this in your Griff - frighteningly expensive wasn't it?

I see prices of about £19 per quart.... whatever that is laugh
I am guestimatting i need 3 for the chageover.

hi ian,

it's a few quid more over other brands but certainly cheaper than a box rebuild.I'm sure the likes of Millers do a good one also but oil i think is a bit like deoderant once you find one you like as a boy you tend to stick with it as a man.I use purple just because i can and i like Tammy wink
