There was a rally near me yesterday, and the road was closed, but being in italy and laws being strange, they were letting people drive up the road for fun.

Must be one of the best roads i have done in a while

Here's a video copilation of some of the 6 times i went up, amazingly the bikes that were around were absolutely flying up there!

plese use this one running out of bandwidth!!!

Good video .
Not sure about the one handed steering with the other permanently on the gear stick though , an advanced Italian method maybe .

Nice video Sacha. Looks like you're trying to wear those tyres out in anticipation of your new 19 inch Kahn's/tyres.

In the UK you definitely need both hands on the wheel, but that is because our roads are so crap.

I can't wait for the end of August, we're taking the T350 to the Alps for a bit of smooth road driving Itinery is close to final now:

- UK to Nurburgring Sun 29th
- Nurburgring on 30th Aug AM
- Autobahn past Suttgart then along the Romantisch Strasse (supposed to be nice)
- Stop at Garmisch Partenkirchen for a night or two
- Down to Bolzano for 3-4 nights
- Do a few passes including Stelvio
- Back to Heidelberg
- Home.

The car's got 2,000 miles on it now, it'll be ready for another service soon

thanks for the reply's! the interior shot with the one handed driving was on my sighting run so i was not pushing it at all , but later i promise that i had two hands on the wheel!
Unluckely by the third run it started raining so the speed went down (amazing how you can make it look faster ) but outright was briliant fun, thanks for your positive comments, i might be out again soon, so more videos to come.....

You think the roads in the UK are crap, this road has to be the only one in italy without a pot hole!!! hence the tyre smoking!!! not, well i have looked after these tyres so well (8k and they look new) i thought i could allow myself a bit of fun!!
Targarama, enjoy your trip, the handling at the high speeds you will be doing in germany will impress you! enjoy!!
I know the feeling about the services, im booked in for a 12k and 18k in september!! (doing the cannonball run!)

word to the wise, it has been said that holding the gear knob damages the linkages on the gear stick

Don't know why however.
