what is a sensible price to change a 2001 chiaera with 34k to a similar age tuscan at a dealer?

My guess would be £18 - £20k.

I've just done the same with a well spec'd 2000 Chimaera 450 with 27k.

Probably a slight premium for a 500.

Are you seriously suggesting £20k on top of my car to change. The chim is to be part ex'd!/!

As a trade in I'd say your Chimaera is worth about £20k, 2001 Tuscans at Dealers are around £30k so I'd budget for about £10k to change, you might find one a little cheaper, and someone might give you more for your part-ex, but these things are always a finger in the wind exercise until you get down the dealer and start talking money
