Where is the Otter switch?

I have a 1995 Chimaera 4.0HC and am planning to fit the mod-wise fan control unit.
Trouble is when I go to connect to the otter switch it isn't at the bottom of the swirl tank Or top of the radiator or top of the engine behind the alternator. Has anyone else faced the same challenge?

Try bottom of radiator on left hand side, passenger side near the alarm bracket.
