Bowler Wildcat

Anyone got any footage of it? I've had a look on PistonHeads.tv but no sign.
Of course I'm getting plenty of stick from colleagues about the TVR sale and they were talking about brining a 4x4 out
I wanted to show them a real one. I remember seeing the little chap from Top Gear doing a piece on it.

The review from top gear is on their DVD. I got a freebie sample with TG mag a few months back - 1/2 hours worth. The full DVD is around 1 1/2 hrs ish.

I can't see the taxman could argue - provided there are only 2 seats and there's some load space in the back.

Dodger - there are various types of Wildcat, and if you search around the site, you'll see various RV8 engine options mentioned, and yes the biggie that Top Gear tested did have a very rapid TVR lump.

I suspect they might have had to change supplier when the RV8 production line closed .

The TD5 is a Land Rover development. It's basically the Tdi300 plus one cylinder. The layout of the Tdi300 dates back to the 1958 2¼ petrol engine (the piston rods are almost identical )

Everything labeled Td6, however, is of BMW creed.

That'll be why its sh1t then L/r diesels have always been sh1t... although i'll tell you if its any better abfter a little visit to JE engineering next month
