Nice car moment

There I was coming out of Ikea (don't ask) and I was just in the stretch of road between two roundabouts.
I saw this car coming up beside me and slowing down. Thought, bollox, more kids wanting to race.
Anyway, he toots his horn and I turn round to see a taxi. My first thought was that he wanted directions but I didn't hear him right so I said 'Eh!!!'
He replied by shouting across 'Best car in the world mate', I assume he meant mine. I gave him the thumbs up and shot off as the car was just getting into the 3k rpm noise band
I know it's not a story of two naked young female virgins lying across my bonnet
but it made my day after having to cope with the horror of Ikea

I've never experienced any grief myself so I'm probably not the best person to comment but I can't imagine you, shnozz, being driven to giving up ownership of a convertible because of offensive remarks. Cerbies are nice though
Having said that, there was one teeny weeny incident when I came up behind a family man in a family car doing about 35mph and, although I kept my distance, he proceeded to operate his washer jets because I had the top off

and overtook him! 
I had a nice incident last night too. Maxxer at the pump next to me when filling up not only waited and held the door open for me, but when I got back to the car, he said he wanted to wait before getting in to his so that he could listen to mine start up.

Think of little me (ok, I'm not that little). I work there, it's my only source of income and I put in extra shifts on holiday I'm slowly going mad and getting soo very tired of the whole ordeal. Still, I've learnt the trick of "I'm not here but back in Egypt" quite nicely. Even easier now that the Air-Con has died
I don't think working there is that successful mind, in July
£200 on Visa bill rememants of Egypt Holiday.
£180 on fuel
£150 on events
£145 on new tires
£121 on new prop shaft
£796 in total. I got paid £270 that month. Bugger.

Funnily enough the jealous and offensive remarks dont get aimed at women too. I havent spoken to a woman yet that has had any abuse driving a nice car. Just blokes.
It wouldnt "drive" me into getting a hardtop I just wouldn't miss the shit that gets dished out. Plus I do think the cerbera is the ultimate TVR in looks and performance, its just that I am certain I would miss the open top motoring. (oh, and repairs/servicing at half the price)

Just jealousy, people are brought up these days to believe that anyone with a flash car earns lots of money, doesn't pay a lot of tax and gets away with things. All down to the innacurate hype and rubbish spewed by the current marxist government.

Oh I don't know, that sounds pretty good to me! It must be one of the best kept secrets that (second-hand) Tivs especially Chims are relatively cheap to buy in comparison to other performance/sports cars! The average non-descript car costs about the same, if not a fair bit more if you're one of those who feels the need to have the latest registration

Only had one numpty give me abuse in the tuscan with the roof off.
Overwelming positive thumbs up 'great car mate' shouts. teenage girls all over it...
seems to appeal to everyone from young boys to old mechanicy blokes, and is the first car I've had that seems to impress burds too.. not that I would be interested in such a shallow approach you understand...
anyway must dash, as ipswich centre ned/maxpower one way centre route down by burger king beckons for some cruising....*
