Had a great time at the PPC party in the park, as usual not a single car came past me, even in the wet smile
Dried out later and then was able to give it full beans, it still spins up onto the start finish straight in the dry!

Hi Brummie, thanks for posting the vid! Must say the competition was looking a bit stiff what with transit vans and Peugeot estate, and was that a white morris minor at the start rofl You gotta come out to Spa with us would love to see what she does through o'rouge and down [or up i should say] the kemmel straight! Think your find a better quality of car to play with as well, although there was a Disco out for a couple of laps last month! Mallory just looked a little tight for your beast! Where they allowing passing on the right? or were you just getting creative wink

I was getting creative! I would have had to wait all day otherwise.
That Moggie was actually a nice car, Moggie in shape only.
I tried to give the £50 cars as wide a berth as possible for obvious reasons!
I have been on trackdays with worse drivers than this lot in all fairness, it was really greasy in the morning, and i dont think i noticed one single stoppage all day.
I have Donnington this Friday, and the weather looks like its going to play! smile

Was a great day. The track was damp and greasy in the morning which made it interesting to say the least. Loved the mix of machinery on track.

There was a GT-40 replica there i believe, the owner of which was astounded by the turn of speed on your car Brummie!! He thought you were easily the fastest car there...but that you didnt bring her out in the wet?!

I just literally just got the comments from a friend in the office this morning...that asked me if i knew of a completely insane Cerbera that was bright red that was at Mallory at the weekend...i kind of guessed it would be you!!!!!!!!

Paul had wide 888's on IIRC
Even my awesome RSRs were struggling. The back end stepping out as i braked at 80 into Gerrards was an experience.

I had 888's on as it was wet and then patchy, could'nt be arsed to swap for the last dry one so left them on, it was quite a cold day so they didnt do bad, using the slicks on the rear is a load cheaper, but it is nice to be able to balance the car with similar tyres all round, especially Gerrards, you could play with front and rear drift all the way round.

Looks like quite a busy track with very varied speeds. How many cars did they have out. At a time?

Cerbera sounds good, and seems to be fast enough...
