Don't forget, TVR fans, the TVRCC Speed Championship is coming to Prescott Speed Hillclimb this Saturday 26th May, on the "Invited Clubs" Saturday before "La Vie en Bleu" Sunday. We've got 26 entrants. And it looks like the sun may shine ... !

I believe there's dedicated TVR parking and the possibility of a convoy run up the hill at lunchtime, although if you want to see what hillclimbing's really like, you'll have to put some numbers on it!!

I shall be there. On account of living 6 miles away and being a member of the BOC smile

Ooh... possibly maybe.
In Somerset this weekend about 68 miles away. It would be great to come along.

I am looking forward to being there and driving the hill at Retro Rides on 19th August.

Oh, g'wan, the sun will be shining, it's a beautiful location, the BOC usually lay on a load of other stuff and you can get to see what motorsport with corners looks like. smile

Just be careful of the semi-circle at the top, it's off camber, no visibility on entry, tighter than you think and a steep drop on the outside. If you do get it wrong, as you career down the grassy bank look for the Tuscan shaped impression in the tyre wall that I left there last weekend frown

Bummer. Sorry to hear it.

Yes, I've been doing Prescott for some years, and I've only recently grown the balls to enter Semicircle properly (on the *outside*). IIRC, the only TVRCC Speed Championship contender to go "Over The Top" there was Johnny Wilson, now doing DTEC, in his Cerbera a few years ago.

Needless to say, Prescott is one of the events I buy insurance for.

Kewl. Look forward to seeing y'all - please drop by and say "Hello" - I'm #77 (Blue Chimaera) and there's a picture of my ugly mug in this month's "Sprint" in the Lydden writeup. I'm the big one ...
