I run my R88's at circa 24 on the road and 22 on the track so 24PSi should be about right for road use

I've got 24 front 26 rear on my Toyos (T1R's) so not sure if R888 side walls are as soft. Seems to be the concensus presuure.
Seem to drive and wear perfectly at that.

888s and T1Rs are different tyres.

Fairly obvious statement. If the 888's sidewalls are the same/similar then the suggested pressure is a good start point.

22R/20F for R888s Nigel.

Very strong side walls and beads as they are a track tyre. They won't come off or rotate on rims.
If you run them much higher, they'll tramline and give you a jarred ride.

Take them up to 24/22 or higher for track days, but you'll loose your fillings on the road.
