At the dealer today. Apparently he bought it on Monday and told them he was about to buy the company. They needed a little bit of convincing that this was the case.

Apparently, the rumour mill suggests that NS is to be a champion of the workers at the factory and that all the executives have been told to swap their cars for TVRs. "I don't like German cars", he told them

So, any clues as to what that car is? I presume it's one of the current models if he got it so fast - TuscanS or Cerb?

It's a blue T350C. Very nice it looked. I think the dealer might have put some extra effort in . They had three or four chaps working on it when I was there .

True story, spoke to the dealer today and he told me of the events leading up to the deal, strange but true.

New owner couldn't pick it up this afternoon as he was a bit tied up work wise

DEALER: Er yes sir, 'that model there' is the TVR T350, a very elegant and rather masculine true British sports car, fantastic drivers car I must admit, have you read anything about TVR cars in... er, where did you say you were from??

SMOLENSKY: Ahh yes, a TBR, I have known much about them in advance of my arrival. I would like to buy it now without a furthers delay :reachesforsuitcase: here please now accept my cash - I think thats it a very suitables for me.

DEALER: Hehehe...errr, cash sir? Why, yes of... course. Oh my, you do have a lot of cash you have there "hehehehehrrCOUGH" Erm, possibly you'd like to consider the warranty, and perhaps I can you'd like to consider a few options first!??

SMOLENSKY: I do like dis car to take, one of the pens with yours name upon it, and leave it to me, I vill buy TBR on Wednesday, but my credits card does not allow £15 mi8llions, de banks de bastads, so I vill have only this car for now please, thankyous.

Silly boy - if he'd waited a few days he could have helped himself to a free one!

You know.......it is being assumed in all these sketches on the threads that NS will have a Russian accent..........

As he has spent so long in this country and London in particular....it's quite possible he will have a very good English accent........

I'll put money on it that it's better than mine...... (born London ...now Essex...!!!!)
