Hello Lovely TVR people...

Hoping someone has some handy suggestion as to where I can get my Tremec TKO600 gearbox in my Camaro rebuilt. It's a bigger chunkier version of the T5 found in most Tivs so hoping that a few here may have some ideas.

many thanks smile

Off the top of my head!! I'd try John Read at Readman Racing.
Haven't got any details...but sure if you googled this you'd get a contact.

+1 for John Reid. Google Grantura Engineering or Readman racing and you'll find him there.

Hi Stu, long time! When are we seeing the chevy again on track, it's such a great colour I can use it as a marker!

John Read has done many boxes from the tiv fraternity, he also does upgrades for the Tuscan challangr cars and a nice guy to boot!

Thanks all. Spoke to gearboxman earlier and they have experience with the Tremec TKO, and sound like they can do it for not silly money, and maybe sort my clutch adjustment issues too... cool

Hi fella, done a few days since I last saw you, but been a bit quiet since end of last year.... I see you're thinking of engine swaps in the Chim.. biggrin
John Read does seem a good bloke from what I've read, as he comes up alot in some searches I did for T5 boxes, but just wanted someone a bit nearer too..
