My Sagaris, worked on by Raceproved body shop.......

So my car is ready in a week... So just to tease myself a little bit more, I have decided to put together a post detailing what I have asked for, and what the amazing Brendan (and Russ!) at Raceproved bodyshop have done for me. So following on from this thread Racing Green supply rebuilt car, I took the car up to Sheffield...
The front of the car (minus the slats, already talked about here: Raceproved Slats), hasn’t had a massive amount done. Unless you count a one piece carbon fibre bonnet as a massive amount (it certainly doesn’t weigh a lot!).

I really wanted a front opening bonnet, as my fat hands couldn’t work within the service bonnet area for checking water. This obviously requires hinges.

(For those that want to know, the bonnet is held by two catches at the front). As for the old bonnets, they are back with me, and I might sell them – all depends if anyone wants them?
Moving to the back, the lovely Funky knocked up a gif that shows one modification
So this idea came from Dean and Kiefh – I have had the reflector in the rear deleted, and moved into the light cluster. The top light cluster is now a brake light, and you can do the maths from there!

Which brings us on to the paint itself..... I’ll be totally honest. I loved the old colour, and I didn’t want to change it. BUT..... a word of warning to all TVR owners with an SW paint code on their car. Do not crash it, or have major bodywork done without choosing a new colour, because you will not be able to match the old colour. At all. Something down to USA metal flake is of a larger size than the UK, and blah blah blah. So, through no fault of those fine folks at Raceproved, we have a new colour! It’s called Spectraflair black. It looks light grey under small light, but then in the sunshine this happens. When I got these photos, my jaw hung open for some time.
So, the car is now just about put back together, and being sorted before paintshield and final hand over. Hopefully within the week it’ll be back. I’ll make sure that I have a lot of photos and videos – the exhaust is lovely sounding as well... Hope you like! I’ll be out at the Petrolhead Nirvana Ace cafe meets, Le Mans, Quay for my Car and anything else I can get to through the year. I’ll be happy to say hello to anyone at all, and show them round the thing. Whilst I realise that a lot of people don’t like the thought of modifying the Sagaris, I hope that these modifications are sympathetic to the brilliance that TVR instilled in the Sagaris.

Cheers all! I'm a very lucky man. The cam cover I'm leaving blue as it compliments the seats and hose kit, and now the bodywork goes a bit blue as well... 
Yes, very excited (think 5 year old at Christmas excitement level), and very happy.

Don, did you get the "enhanced" version of the LED rear lights done or the originals?
After speaking with Russ about the version you were doing, Russ and I worked out a "version 2" which he was adding
to my car. I don't know if you picked up this version or the original.
The version 2 uses pulse width modulation (PWM) on the LEDs meaning they can act as any of the indicator colours, rather
than just 1 for a cluster section. Was a bit more tricker to do, but I think Russ cracked it in the end.

Graham, John, (everyone), many thanks. I'm honest enough to say most of the rear mods weren't my idea, but they are easily done for anyone who wants it done. 
As for the workmanship, it's outstanding. There was a time I popped in and promptly spent about fifteen minutes looking at one particular angle on the mesh (see below). The angle is on the rear vent, on the right hand side. I just can't understand how he has made the curve in the metal so smooth, flawless. (I'm excellent at breaking things/people, and can 'make' music -DJ'ing- but how to actually be a craftsman completely escapes me).
Alex, I'm going for the version one - from what I have seen the V2 can take these mods further? I just wanted to clean up the rear end - I think going further would look stunning, but I'm not sure it's for me. Yet.

Thanks one and all (again!). For it being best Sag out there, there is some very tough competition out there - Grahams and Pauls are jaw dropping, Johns is like a new car.
We'll see how mine comes back to me, but Brendan and Russ have both described it as a 'new car'. As far as I'm concerned, it's a rolling advertisement for both Raceproved and Racing Green (along with ACT and Str8-Six have had a hand in there!).
Basically put, the car wouldn't be where it is today without modern TVR craftsmen, and for that I'm eternally grateful.
