Hi all

I found out today that Craig, aka Uncle Fester, passed away on May 20th.

You may remember him as a fellow Griff owner who loved to speak his mind on here & other forums, he was one of the biggest men I have ever seen behind the wheel of a TVR but he was a good man & will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.

RIP big fella.

RIP Uncle Fester - I have his old Griff and had a couple of long chats with him last summer although have never actually met him - my profile of the car is copied from when he owned the car and is a testament to a true Griff enthusiast who wanted the very best and was searching for perfection in his acr and set up.

Very sad news indeed.

Paul.

As Rich B said, I also remember Festers posts well. He was a great contributor who made PH what it is and will be sadly missed. My condolances to all his family and friends.

I also enjoyed his posts and straight talking, had wondered where he was! My thoughts are with those close to him.
Just checked his old car out! Speaks bundles about the man, hope its at the growl!

just a thought, and dont mean to pry, but what if we were to donate to a charity at the growl next week, something relevant to unc fester, cancer research or heart foundation ect, appreciate FFG and Andrea may already have charity for the event already sorted.

or a trophy, say the Uncle Fester Memorial cup for the best griff at the growl?(I`d happily buy it)
just an idea, appreciate it is late notice but would be nice to remember one of our own.

Good thinking Clive! I was going to suggest a whip round for some flowers at the funeral from us lot but your idea is even better smile
