Top job by TopCats.

I took the Griff in yesterday to get the suspension set up by TopCats racing yesterday, a very friendly team who were very welcoming, they let me hang about to watch it all being set up and talked through the changes they were making and why.
I had the corner weights nearly perfect just by measuring the spring seats to the end of the shock, but the camber angles on the front were a long way out, camber was ok on the rear and although the rear toe was also correct it was all on one side, that meant adjusting one rear out and the other in.
The car is noticeably more stable through the corners and has much more grip than previous.
There was a funny contrast of high tech with the cordless corner weights all link to the Palm, then the string box to get all 4 wheels pointing straight.
I’d definitely recommend them.

lol .. yup i use string around the car to get it pointing straight .. it's how they used to do it before 4 wheel laser aligners came along .. in fact some laser aligners are still called *laser string* systems. It's a great way to do it 'cos you can actually *see* what needs moving and where
